2. Purposes of processing

OIKOTHERM S.L. may process personal data provided by email, telephone, an external form or other contact channels in order to answer enquiries and requests for information or quotations; manage pre-contractual and contractual relationships; coordinate installations, technical visits, assistance and commercial follow-up; and comply with applicable legal, administrative, tax, accounting and security obligations.

When the user voluntarily accepts analytics cookies, OIKOTHERM uses Google Analytics to understand in aggregate how the website is used and to improve its operation and content.

Data will be processed in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, minimisation and purpose limitation.

3. Categories of data processed

Depending on the circumstances, OIKOTHERM may process identification and contact data, professional or company data, and information needed to prepare quotations, coordinate services or respond to incidents and enquiries.

If the user consents to Analytics, technical and usage data generated while browsing may also be processed in accordance with the Google Analytics configuration. Quotation requests are made through a clearly identified external form.

4. Legal basis

The legal basis for processing may include the data subject’s consent; pre-contractual steps taken at the data subject’s request; performance of a contract; compliance with legal obligations; and, where appropriate, OIKOTHERM S.L.’s legitimate interests exercised proportionately and with due regard for the rights and freedoms of the data subject.

Google Analytics is activated only on the basis of prior consent for analytics cookies. That consent can be withdrawn at any time through the cookie settings option available in the footer.

5. Data retention

Personal data will be kept for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and, afterwards, for any periods required by applicable law or for as long as necessary to address possible legal liabilities.

Cookie preferences are retained for a limited period solely to remember the visitor’s choice. Analytics data, where consent has been given, is retained in accordance with the configuration applied in Google Analytics and the provider’s terms.

6. Recipients and processors

As a general rule, OIKOTHERM S.L. will not disclose personal data to third parties unless required by law or necessary to provide the requested service. Providers of hosting, email, technical support, advisory, administration or other professional services may have access to data under the terms permitted by applicable law.

The website uses Vercel for hosting and, only when the user consents to analytics cookies, Google Analytics for usage measurement. When a user voluntarily accesses an external service linked from this website — for example Google Forms, Google Drive, Google Photos or WhatsApp — subsequent data processing is also subject to the relevant provider’s terms and policies.

7. International transfers

Use of certain technology providers, including Google Analytics where consent has been given, or linked external services may involve international transfers of personal data. In those cases, the safeguards and mechanisms established by the provider and by applicable data protection law will apply.

8. Data subject rights

OIKOTHERM S.L. applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, taking into account the nature of the data and the risks associated with processing.

10. Minors

This website is not directed at minors and OIKOTHERM S.L. does not knowingly request personal information from minors.

11. Cookies and analytics

The website uses mechanisms that are necessary to remember privacy preferences and provides an optional analytics-cookie category associated with Google Analytics. Analytics cookies are off by default.

12. Links to external services

The website contains links to external documents, galleries, forms and services. Those services are accessed only when the user chooses to follow the link. OIKOTHERM does not install cookies from those providers merely by displaying an external link.
